A lot happened this past year.
I decided to take the leap and launch Ashley Cutwa Photography.
I did just that, then found out less than a week later that our family would be growing- again.
I emerged from my first trimester hibernation just in time to head to Hawaii, where we celebrated my daughter’s first birthday and enjoyed our first vacation as a family.
I came back from Hawaii feeling refreshed and ready to kick some butt, and finished my spring semester with a bang, and really started booking clients!
SO. MANY. LOVELY. FAMILIES. For instance, these:
And, well… you get it!
I feel truly blessed to have had the opportunity to work with you all!
I worked up until 4 days before giving birth , and got back to work 5 weeks later! I guess you can say I am a bit of a photography junkie. Not much can keep me away from the camera!
Coming back from my babymoon in mid-October, I really got to experience just how busy the “busy season” REALLY is for a portrait photographer. I doubled the amount of sessions I had originally opened for clients, and quickly booked every. single. session.
SO. MUCH. GORGEOUSNESS.
Other firsts included my first fundraiser, first mini sessions, first styled session shoot-out and first professional development workshop!
Looking forward to 2016, I am loving what I see. I have a ton of goals and big plans. Stay tuned to my blog to hear more!
In the words of Oprah Winfrey,
“When I look at the future, it’s so bright it burns my eyes.”
Holy cow, do I love that quote! I have not stopped thinking about it since I read it a couple of weeks ago. It is so true! I love thinking about how bright the future is! for my career, for my family, just all of it!
